Summary
This report presents new estimates of gross earnings for employees in Jersey, using administrative data sources. It marks the launch of a new annual publication, which will be published in August each year.
By linking data from ITIS, Social Security contributions, and Manpower returns, this new methodology provides greater detail than is currently available in our existing survey-based earnings statistics, such as analysis of monthly earnings and earnings inequality statistics.
The report presents both median and mean earnings on a full-time equivalent (FTE) basis, with medians used as the main measure. There are further breakdowns by sector, age, sex, self-declared nationality, and incapacity allowance claimants.
