You can explore Jersey census data using our interactive map. The census data can be viewed at Parish and Vingtaine levels of geography, showing how the characteristics of people, households and housing vary across the Island.
How to use this map
- Open the map in full screen (this ensures the legend is displayed)
- Choose a geographic area to explore by selecting either Parish or Vingtaine in the top bar
- Choose a theme by selecting Housing, People or Transport in the second bar
- Choose a sub-theme (if available) in the third bar
- Select a map by clicking the circle next to the statistic you would like to view on the left-hand side panel
- Click on the map to see more information about specific areas of Jersey
- You can switch maps at any time by changing the selected boundary, theme, sub-theme or statistic

Data shown in the maps are aggregated by area and are presented as counts or percentages. All counts are rounded to the nearest 10 and values fewer than 10 are suppressed. The maps do not contain any personal information and the underlying data are designed so that individuals or addresses cannot be identified from the statistics presented.
