Ahead of the release of two earnings reports on 22 August, Statistics Jersey has published an explainer outlining upcoming developments in how earnings data is reported. The document sets out the rationale for introducing a new, more detailed earnings report based on administrative data, how it differs from the long-standing Average Earnings Index (AEI), and what this means for the future development of earnings statistics in Jersey.
