Statistics Jersey has today published the September Business Tendency Survey (BTS) report.
The Business Tendency Survey gathers qualitative feedback from chief executives and managing directors of private-sector businesses in Jersey. It provides timely insights into current economic conditions and future expectations, helping government, industry groups and the public understand how Jersey’s economy is changing.
Results for September 2026 indicate that overall business activity remained stable across Jersey’s economy, although businesses continued to report significant labour and non-labour cost pressures, with staff and skills shortages remaining the most common factor limiting business performance.
